Dr. Rahul D Modi works as a Lead Consultant in, the Gynaecological Oncology Division at the prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is an alumnus of PGIMER Chandigarh, The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Ahmedabad, and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
He has cleared the European Society of Gynecological Oncology certification exam. To add to his credits, He was Prof. Shingo Fujii Travel Grant Awardee 2019, Prof. Shashikant Lele Fellowship Awardee 2020, and a guest doctor at Charite, Berlin.
He deals with all kinds of gynecological cancers which includes uterine, ovarian, fallopian tube, peritoneal, gestational trophoblastic tumors, vulvar and vaginal cancers. He has a special interest in adolescent oncology with expertise in fertility preservation strategies. He is well-trained in cytoreductive surgeries, HIPEC, and minimally invasive surgeries for gynecological cancers.
He has worked as a faculty at TMH Mumbai, AIIMS Rishikesh, and SRHU Dehradun. He is also a faculty at the ECHO Tumour Board for Zambia under the auspices of the International Gynecological Cancer Society.
